Policies and Procedures
Personal Information Your personal information is just that, yours. Any personal information (addresses, phone numbers, names, e-mails, etc) supplied to us will never be sold or given to anyone outside our office.
Pricing Information Price quotations are good for 30 days from the date of the quotation to you. Prices of kits and individual parts are subject to change without prior notice and the manufacturers of the components that make up the engine kits are also subject to change without notice. We can not be held responsible for incorrect information in manufacturers catalogs which make the part incorrect for the particular application it was purchased for.
Methods Of Payment Our prefered method of payment is by credit card. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Discover and American Express. We also accept Checks, money orders and Paypal payments. If paying by check, please allow 7 days for your check to clear. As e-mail is not a secure method of transmitting data, DON'T e-mail us your credit card information. We will call you to get this information or if needed, provide you with a link to order from our secure server.
Special Orders When an item is requested that is not stocked by us or the warehouse, this is a special order item. We don't charge anything additional for this service, but all special orders from the factory are non-returnable without exception. We will not special order any items prior to obtaining a valid credit card number or receiving payment for items.
Return Policy To return an order or item due to error, please e-mail us for an authorization number. Please provide the date of original purchase, invoice number, the manufacturers part number, and the reason why the item is requested to be returned. All returns sent to us without prior authorization will be refused and sent back to you. **IMPORTANT** If for any reason an item must be returned, it must be packaged in such a way to prevent scratching or damage that may occur during shipping. We will not exchange or issue credit for any parts that are received in an unsellable condition and they must be packaged in their original packaging and boxing without tears or damage to the original boxes. Used parts are not returnable. Also, refunds will not be given for opened items which breaks a factory seal. Returns within 30 days from shipment are subject to a 10% restocking fee. After 30 days, returns are subject to a 25% restocking fee and after 180 days, items are not returnable. Some items automatically carry a 25% restocking fee regardless of when the item is returned. There are no returns on special order items.
Cores All cores returned must be in their original box with the original tag (if shipped with a tag attached). No exceptions. Money due from the return of a core will be refunded when our supplier accepts the item for a core return. If the core is refused by our supplier because of damage etc, no core money will be refunded by us to you.
Non-sufficient funds and deliquent accounts There is a $30.00 service fee for all checks with non-sufficient funds. If a check is returned three times, we will contact a collection agency to seek collection on the account and you may be subject to criminal prosecution. For any reason an account becomes delinquent (over 30 days), interest will be charged on the account at a rate of 1 1/2% per month until the proper amount is collected and the account is satisfied. If funds on an account become past due over 90 days, we reserve the right to seek collection on this account. After this 90 day period, an overdue account will be turned over to a collection agency and you may be subject to criminal prosecution.
Green Bay Parts World, Inc. will not be responsible for any damages due to incorrect application information from a customer, incorrect or typographical errors found in manufacturers catalogs or reference materials, freight, fire, accident, obvious abuse, neglect or used parts installed that cause damage to new parts. We do not assume any responsibility for towing charges, fluids, freon, gas, filters, lay-up time, lodging, vehicle rental or other substitute transportation, telephone, other communication charges, travel, damage to personal property, commercial losses, diagnostic time, loss of revenue or other matters not specifically included.
